It seems that Thanksgiving shopping has already hit its peak for the year. Many businesses have changed the way they think about Black Friday and holiday hours in general.

Some businesses have decided this year to be different when we think of Black Friday. According to Money Magazine, Wal-Mart has stated that every day starting now will be like Cyber Monday.

Other retailers like Target and Toys R Us have announced that they will be having a Black Friday Weekend, with sales starting the day before, being open on Thanksgiving Day normal hours. Best Buy said it would be open normal store hours on Thanksgiving.

There are some retailers that are backing away from being open on the holiday. Staples will be closed on Thanksgiving this year, so will H&M, and outdoor specialty chain REI said they will be closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Money Magazine went on to say:

With so many different factors and the internet being a huge player in the Black Friday/Cyber Monday craze, retailers are looking at different ways of providing savings to the consumer.

Before you head out this year, check with the retailer to ensure that they will be open on this Black Friday.
