I Asked My 6 Year Old To Rename These 8 Popular Grand Junction Landmarks, The Results Are Surprisingly Hilarious
My son Zayd, has an incredible imagination, and he usually does a good job of looking at the world in his own, special way. I decided it would be pretty funny to take him to different Grand Junction Landmarks, and ask him to rename that landmark (or area) whatever he felt best described each item. The results are delightfully hilarious.
The Colorado Monument:
Zayd's Rename - The Endless Mountain Of Rocks...That Has Bushes
North Avenue:
Zayd's Rename - Awkward Danger Street
Riverside Area:
Zayd's Rename - Creepy but Shady Street
The Redlands Parkway Bridge:
Zayd's Rename - The Human Colored Safety Bridge
Scenic Elementary:
Zayd's Rename - The School with (some) Nice Teachers
The Redlands:
Zayd's Rename - Peaceful Town
Clifton:
Zayd's Rename - Construction Place
Orchard Mesa Cemetary:
Zayd's Rename - Place of Gates and Tombs
I had so much fun asking him to rename Grand Junction Landmarks, that I will most likely write a follow-up article on this, soon. I'm thinking about showing him pictures of some of our most popular local wildlife, and allowing him to create his own fun names for each.
