Yard sale season is officially here, get ready to make some extra money! That is if you price everything correct!

Pricing items for any yard sell is pretty stressful! The one thing that I have noticed is that most people price items to high, but after about an hour of people pick up items 'gawking' at the price, they end up slashing it down to cheap!

Coming up is the World's Greatest Yard Sale on May 18th and pricing your items to sell fast and to make money! Here are some tips for pricing your items!

Baby Clothes

When pricing baby clothes, separate boys and girls items. If any of your kids clothes are super stained I would not sell them! Even though it is a yard sale, people still want good looking clothes. Price all clothes to sell starting at $1 and don't price anything over $5.

Kitchen Items

Seems like you can find any kitchen item that you might need at a yard sale.  If you have cookie trays, baking containers or even a toaster you'll be able sell those pretty quickly! Price all your cooking sheet, cooking utensils at $2 and anything that plugs in starting at $5!

Books

Now a days it seems like books are collector items! If you have a large collection of series then I would price as a group starting at $5. Single books and kids books price cheap 50 cents, because hauling them around is a pain!
