How to Get Sweet With Someone You Don’t Love This Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day is best known as a time for lovers and sweethearts, but this year you might want to get sweet with someone you don't love.

"Gifts from the Heart" is an annual fundraiser for Marillac Clinic in Grand Junction and it is a great way to share some good feelings with people you aren't linked to romantically. You can order a  box of beautifully decorated gourmet cupcakes from Baker's Boutique for $15 and these yummy treats will be greatly enjoyed and appreciated

This is the 7th year for "Gifts from the Heart" and this year's featured flavors are Oreo Red Velvet, Love Bug Wedding Cake (my favorite), Chocolate Tuxedo, and Pink Champagne. You can see from the picture they look absolutely amazing, and, just so you know -they taste just as good.

Marillac Clinic provides medical services to uninsured or underinsured residents in the Grand Valley.  This fundraiser helps them meet their financial obligations.

So, these cupcakes would certainly make a great gift for your sweetheart, but they are also a great way to let others know how much you appreciate them - maybe your mail carrier, your boss,  your employees, an office mate, a parent, a teacher, a police officer, a homeless person. The possibilities are endless.
