In the past the Grand Valley Health Fair has been put on by 9health Organization for over 30 years! What does this change mean for you?

I love this event! My family has a history of heart disease and I go every year to have my blood screening done so that I can keep on top of my health care.

This event reaches over 3 to 4 thousand people every year and the change to a completly local event means they'll be expanding local partnerships so they can reach more of the population and improve community outreach thereby increasing access to basic health screenings by the uninsured and under insured population.

According to the Mesa County Health Department, this years Grand Valley Health Fair will be planned by a volunteer committee made up of various community organizations with blood screening analysis provided by St. Mary’s Hospital.

The dates for the local Grand Valley Health Fair is September 27th at the Two Rivers Convention Center. More info is also available by calling 2-1-1 or by clicking here to check out the
