Grand Junction Yard Sale Benefits Local Veterans

The Golden Age Games is a sporting event for veterans in Grand Junction to participate in some challenging but fun activities. But the Grand Junction veterans could use the communities help to go. 

Horseshoes, table tennis, golf, and cycling are all a part of the Golden Age Games. Veterans from Grand Junction have the opportunity to participate in the games that take place in Detroit, with a little help from a community fundraiser.

This year, the Veterans Administration will be having a veterans garage sale on Saturday, April 2d in the VA parking lot located off of North Ave in Grand Junction.

This year's yard sale will kick off at 8 a.m. Everyone is invited to take part and even bring items to sell in the garage sale. You simply bring the items early before the sale starts, and it will help raise the funds needed for the Golden Age Games.

Veteran's in Grand Junction serve the community in so many ways. It is awesome to see how much the community loves to give back to our local Veteran's. Let's send our Vet's to Detroit! Be a part of Veteran's Yard Sale!
