Grand Junction is gearing up for this weekend's Veterans Day Parade on Main Street. What did a local parade look like 60 years ago? You'll be surprised how little they've changed. Take a look at downtown photos of past parades from the 1950's, 60's, and 70's.

The 2017 Veterans Day Parade is Saturday, November 11, starting at 2 p.m. The route runs Main Street from 8th to 3rd. Put simply, the typical parade route.
