Home Loan Taste of The Grand Valley

If you missed the 'Taste of the Grand Valley' at the Two Rivers convention Center you missed a lot. This tasty event also benefits the United Way of Mesa County in addition to satisfying our taste buds.

I learned I have a new favorite pizza joint in Grand Junction, Nick- N- Willy's Pizza. It's been years since I've been to a Village Inn, and yes in college it was a late night favorite. Now I know why that when someone says Village Inn around here that anyone within earshot their eyes glaze over as the say.....'um-mm great pies'.

I found my coffee-culture fix for sure as Colorado Legacy Coffee reminded me of the coffee culture that is so prevalent in the Pacific Northwest.

And soup? Hands down the best soup Ive had in many years is 'Zoup'. The Chicken/Rice concoction I sampled was like having a chicken pot pie. And their Lobster Bisque? Don't get me started.

A great crowd, great food and all for a good cause I cannot wait for next years "Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley.
