The Fruita Fall Festival is always a great weekend of fun activities. This year, the festival also has a special theme, 'Honoring Our Hometown Heroes."

In keeping with the theme, the Fall Festival Committee has announced former Fruita Police Chief and current Code enforcement officer Mark Angelo as the Grand Marshall of the Fruita Fall Festival Parade.

All entries in the parade are invited to have their floats, vehicles or other entries honor local hometown heroes.

The Fruita Fall Festival is scheduled for September 23 through 25 and includes over 125 vendors and live entertainment including headliners Daryl Worley and the Georgia Satellites.

In addition to the parade, the festival offers,

  • Outhouse Race
  • Disc Golf Tournament
  • Cooking Contest
  • Street Dance
  • Comedian Sam Alex
  • Local Bands performing at Civic Center Park

The events are free and families are encouraged to spend the day and evening enjoying all the great activities. Individuals, groups or organizations interested in participating in the parade need to fill out a registration form prior to the event.

The Fall Festival will also have a carnival and discounts are available when tickets are purchased in advance.
