Tin Cup is a very small historic town in Colorado. This unincorporated community, located in Gunnison County, used to be a prominent but dangerous mining town. It is now a community of mostly summer homes with very few permanent residents. Some consider it a ghost town.

It's a rocky, dirt road that leads to Tin Cup and most of the visitors or passerby's come by on dirt bikes and four wheelers for this reason. Not many commercial vehicles make it to this part of Colorado.

The TinCup Store and Frenchy's Cafe are the only commercial-type ventures Tin Cup offers, but its location in the Rocky Mountains gives it more to offer. Surrounding areas are great for ATVing, hiking, camping, boating, fishing, and enjoying the peace and quiet (minus the sound of ATV's.)
