A town in Colorado is now without any type of police. This town of 700 people now hopes for replacements.

In the Colorado town of Green Mountain Falls, the Marshall and 3 deputies quit their jobs, leaving the town without police.

According to Fox 21, the Mayor said that it could have something to do with the fact that it is an election year. She went on to say that the Marshall had moved on to other opportunities.

So who protects the town? Since there is no local presents of police, all calls are being handled by the El Paso County Sheriff's Department.

Immagine how many small towns we have that are right here in Colorado. Then imagine having basically no protection from crime. Would being in a small town be an advantage?

Would you continue to live there? How would you feel knowing that there was no local police?
