An earthquake was recorded near Glenwood Springs on Saturday morning around 1:02 a.m. according to the Denver Channel. The earthquake was 19 miles north of Glenwood Spring in the Flat Tops, west of Triangle Mountain.

The United States Geological Survey stated that the earthquake had a depth of approximately 1.6 miles and was a magnitude of 2.7.

Since the magnitude of the earthquake was so low and it was in a remote location, I wonder if anyone even felt it. It's possible that someone in or around Glenwood Springs could have felt a tremor.

I can't say that I would ever expect an earthquake here in Colorado. Do you know anyone that lives near Glenwood Springs? Did they feel the earthquake on Saturday morning? Let us know, we would love to hear about their earthquake experience.
