Many states are beginning to authorize the use of Marijuana for medical use. But does it really work?

On average Marijuana is used to help with up to 30 different types of ailments, but questions have been raised whether or not using means improvement of health. According to JAMA which is The Journal Of The American Medical Association who conducted a study of 79 clinical trials.

There was moderate-quality evidence to support the use of cannabinoids for the treatment of chronic pain and spasticity. There was low-quality evidence suggesting that cannabinoids were associated with improvements in nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy, weight gain in HIV infection, sleep disorders, and Tourette syndrome. Cannabinoids were associated with an increased risk of short-term AEs.

What does this mean? Doctors are searching for more answers due to receiving such mixed results. Does it make a difference if Marijuana is inhaled, eaten, or taken in pill form? We shall see as the study continues.
