Designated Driving Options for St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

With a weekend infamous for heavy drinking upon us, here are some options for keeping the roads safe this St. Patrick's Day.

It really got me thinking about things after the SXSW drunk driving wreck that happened very early Thursday morning. About 23 people were injured and 2 were killed due to drunk, reckless driving. I would hate to see something like that happen in our community.

So, I've compiled a short list of designated driver options for you to use during St. Patrick's Day weekend:

• Friends/Family: bring a designated driver that you know with you, where ever you will be this weekend. That way you're not tempted to get in your own car and drive.
