Crash In Clifton Leaves 14 Year Old Critically Injured

A 14 year old girl has been critically injured in an accident on a road that has been known to have issues in the past.KKCO reports that 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition when two cars collided in Clifton on Monday.

The accident occurred at the intersection of  I-70 B at 32 Road.

Police stated a car crashed with another car, carrying three children, ages 5, 10, and 14.

The Colorado State Patrol confirmed a 22-year-old Grand Junction man who was driving a Subaru hit a KIA Rio with a mother and her three children inside.

According to authorities, speed was considered a factor, but drugs and alcohol were not at this time.
