Five of the Most Christmas-y Towns in Colorado
It's the most wonderful time of the year! And these Colorado towns are the best to visit, according to tripdiscover.com so let's go!!
Take an absolutely beautiful ski area, combine it with a town that is picture postcard perfect for Christmas and you get Breckenridge. Coming this weekend, the tree lighting and Running of the Santas!
Durango is perfectly suited for Christmas time. The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway features the Polar Express, something you have to add to your Christmas things to do list. Add in lighting festivities, music and lots of events, and you have the recipe for an excellent time!
This silver mining community, reminiscent of the early 20th century is one picturesque place. Lots of skiing, shopping, and amazing decorations turn this into a snow globe like atmosphere.
Well of course Aspen needs to be on the list. One of the most beautiful places on Earth, let alone Colorado! Think about it. Santa, shopping, reindeer, celebrities! Ok, I can do without that last one, but if you go, you will probably see some. And don't forget the Little Nell Tree lighting! I think you might even be able to ski here.
Christmas with an old west flair is what you can expect when you go to Cripple Creek. This place is full of Christmas events. Plays at the Butte Theater, tree lighting, Christmas Parade and a Winter Wonderland every weekend. Don't miss out!
Check them all out, take lots of pics and let us see!
