Colorado Girl Accused of Poisoning Mom For Taking iPhone Away

I have heard of all types of rage in my lifetime, however, this 12-year-old really took it to a whole other level. Over what you may ask? An iPhone. Yeah, an iPhone being taken away as punishment.

A 12-year-old girl was picked up Boulder Police on suspicion of attempted murder after she was accused of trying to kill her mother with bleach because the mother took away her phone away.

Fox News reported that the mother stated that she smelled bleach in her drinks and confronted her daughter, who has now been turned over to juvenile authorities.

The mother complained that she felt sick earlier in the month when she was attempting to drink a smoothie, then a couple of days later smelled bleach in a glass when she was attempting to get a glass of water. Once in the hospital, the mother contacted the authorities.

Boulder Sheriff's Department Sergent Sgt. Bill Crist stated, "She had pre-planned this a couple different times," and the district attorney will have the final say in what happens to the girl.

The question that continues to run through my mind is this. What would you do if you suspected your child wanted to kill you? Was Or attempting to harm you? What would you do?
