Clifton Man Shoots Himself-Authorities Ask For Your Help

Police were called to the area of 3200 E Road in Clifton for a shooting which sent a man to the hospital. KKCO reports that the man accidentally shot himself.

Authorities are asking for your help in locating the gun which was discarded.

Investigators say

The handgun was possibly thrown on the side of E Road between 32 and 33 Roads or a canal in the area.

If you know where the gun is or saw anything suspicious in that area, the sheriff's office asks you to call 911 or the non-emergency dispatch at 970-242-6707.
