Mesa County saw a very slight dip in unemployment last month. Much the same is true with many counties across western Colorado which are at or near standstill.
It appears snow wasn't the only thing lacking in January as there was enough of a drop in the number of people employed in Mesa County to top the national average.
A subject that is again catching the attention of both employers and employees, is whether non-smoking employees should receive more time off than their smoking counterparts.
