There's nothing like catching some spring wildlife in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park.

Okay, well, technically, it was the last day of winter, but close enough. I'm trying to learn photography and what better place than the Colorado mountains.

We went to Rocky Mountain National Park in search of wildlife and we were not disappointed.

When you go to RMNP, there is a good chance you'll see elk, but timing is everything and sometimes you have to be a little lucky. This heard of over 30 elk gave us probably 30 minutes of good shooting time before they decided to cross the road and disappear into the forest.

To see coyotes you have to be super lucky, and while ducks are plentiful, you have to be in the right place at the right time.

My photos aren't exactly award-winning. Give me time, by next spring maybe they will be!
