Body Found in Desert North of Grand Junction
Mesa County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a body found in the desert north of Grand Junction near Highline Canal.
The Sheriff's Office is considering this an unattended death investigation.
At this time, there is no information on gender, or identification of the body.
According to KJCT, the body was found three miles from where 54-year-old Kathleen Lynn Stetzel went missing on Wednesday (July 23). There is no confirmation if the two are connected.
