The Grand Junction Police Department is invstigating an armed robbery that happened at Old Chicago early Wednesday (May 28) morning.

An Old Chicago employee reported that two men cam into the restaurant around 7:15 am Wednesday morning. One of the men was armed with a handgun.

The men forced the employee into the freezer.

After the assailants left, the employee called 911. He was not injured and there was no other people in the restaurant.

Grand Junction's K9 unit was brought on the scene to attempt to track the suspects.

Suspect one is described as a white male, six-foot tall with a medium build. He was wearing a brown heavy coat, jeans and a black mask armed with a handgun.

Suspect two is described as a white male, six-foot one-inch tall with a small build. He was wearing a dark coat, jeans, gloves and a black mask.
