ALERT: Threats Are Made to the Denver Zoo (Update)

*** UPDATE *** Denver Police Department does not believe the threat comes from a credible source. the threat was made by a phone call.

Apparently a false alarm, but the threat that has been taken been very serious. According to 9news, a nincompoop thought it would be funny to call and say he wanted to crash a plane into the zoo.

Zoo will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3.

Thank goodness that it was a false alarm and kudos to the Denver Zoo and DPD for handling the situation so greatly. Excellent job to all involved.
