A Bigger Downtown Grand Junction in the Near Future? [VIDEO]

A recent report by the Grand Junction Downtown Development Authority suggests that they are looking into plans that could alter the course of the I-70 Business Loop downtown.

It would also incorporate at least 15 more blocks back into down.

“It also brings the parks, both Whitman and Emerson into the orbit of downtown,” said executive director of the DDA Harry Weiss according to a recent story on KREX News Channel 5.

The plan is in the initial stages and at this point and officials have expressed little to no interest in moving forward.
