6 Signs You Are Under Too Much Holiday Stress
The holiday season can be wonderful. It can also be a ton of stress for some. Everyone reacts to life differently, but if you have any of these signs, it may be a serious sign of stress.

1. Frequent headaches
Most people suffer from what are called tension headaches.which can be caused by clenching your jaw, or tensing up your neck and shoulders. These things that we do, are not intentional so we do not realize that we are even doing them. In turn, this causes headaches.
2. Body aches and pains
When we feel stressed, our bodies can go into flight or fight mode. So it can be hard to tell the difference between a stress body ache or if we have actually worked out our bodies enough to cause pain.
3. You’re always sick
If you are always feeling sick or like you have the flu, it would be caused from stress. When we are under stress, we have a tendency to eat poorly. When you are under a big amount of stress, our immune system lowers. This can cause us to get colds and just not feel well in general.
4. Itchy skin
You would think itchy skin is cause due to the altitude or the winter time of year, but it is more than that. When you are stressed, we scratch. We may not be doing this on purpose, but it is a nervous twitch that some get as a reaction to the stress in their lives.
5. Acne
When you get one huge zit or totally break out, stress may be the cause. When we are stressed, our body can go into a hormone imbalance. Cortisol can be released into our bodies when we feel stressed, and it can cause us to look like we are reliving our teenage all over again.
6. Increased sweating
We sweat. Normally this occurs when we are hot, or we work out. But stress can also cause us to sweat horribly. Most of the time, the sweat is triggered by stress, and can send a message to those around us that we are feeling threatened or overstressed.
