Summer is the perfect time to try new things, and the perfect time for a salad. Here are some of my favorite salads in Grand Junction, that you definitely need to try this summer.

Garden Of Eat’n

The Garden of Eat’n is one of my favorite places to snag lunch in Grand Junction, it’s basically a giant salad bar. They have all sorts of fresh, healthy options available, and they usually have really tasty soups you can pair with your salad. They are located in the Grand Central Plaza shopping center, off of Grand Ave and 1st street.

The Warehouse (Taco Truck Salad)

The Warehouse is one of Grand Junction’s newest establishments, and the atmosphere is pretty rad. I absolutely love their Taco Truck salad, and it’s actually what I order every time I’m there. It takes Taco Salad to the next level, and they don’t get cheap on anything. It’s a large salad, and it’s awesome. The Warehouse is located right off HWY 6 & 50, out by Wal-Mart and Gold’s Gym.

Junction Square Pizza (Antipasto Salad)

Junction Square Pizza’s Antipasto Salad has always been one of my favorites, and it’s stood the test of time throughout the valley. I’m quite certain that it’s their homemade Italian dressing that really seals the deal on this one. You can order a family-sized salad, for pretty cheap. Junction Square Pizza is located right off of 7th and Main St.

Alehouse (Southwest Steak Salad)

The Alehouse has always been known for large portions of awesome food. Their Southwest Steak Salad is my favorite item on their menu. It’s got some kick and some really tasty steak. If you like salad, but know that you’re pretty hungry, this is the way to go. I always joke that it’s a salad made for a man, but women love it too. The Alehouse is located off of Patterson and Twelfth Street.

Old Chicago

Old Chicago has a few really great salads, and I can’t pick just one. I’ve tried all of the salads here and I really do love them all. If you’re feeling naughty and nice, you can always order a beer with your salad. Old Chicago is located off of 1st and North.

Red Robin (Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad)

Red Robin’s Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad is a great summer salad! It’s another salad with a kick to it, and it also pairs well with a beer. My favorite part of the salad are the jalapeno coins, and I love that they toss in some salsa.

So really you just need to try them all, and let me know if you agree! There are several great salads in town, these are just some of my favorites!
