25 Year Anniversary of Baby Jessica Rescued — Where Were You?

On this day (October 16th) 25 years ago the world was glued to the TV watching and praying that a little 18 month old baby girl would be rescued.

I was 12 years old in 1987 and remember watching the news with my mother. Everyone was thinking, "how are they going to get baby Jessica out?"

For 58-1/2 hours the world tuned into the TV to watching the medical and drilling teams work together to save that little girls life.

It was such a tearful time in Midland, Texas when she was finally above rescued. I think the whole world relaxed and cheered!
