Two U.S. States are seeking potential changes to the drinking age. Currently, the legal age for consuming alcohol is 21.

California and Minnesota  are wanting to decide soon to lower the state's drinking age from 21. California would like to drop all ages across the board. Minnesota is wanting to make it legal for 18, 19, and 20-year old's legal to drink in restaurants.

According to Cosmopolitan Magazine, the current drinking law was established in 1984 and set the drinking age across the country at 21 years of age.

Reports from Twin Cities, show that  Phyllis Kahn who is a state representative in Minnesota has been working to lower the age, and this has reached the federal level.

The idea behind lowering the age is to adopt more of a European mindset, teaching young people how to drink responsibility in a social setting. They wouldn't be able to buy booze in liquor stores until they're 21.

If Colorado was to do this, what do you think the outcome would be? Is this something that the state of Colorado needs to look into?
