As we approach Thanksgiving and I sit here taking some time to relax and watch Hallmark movies it makes me reflect on my own life.

I started to think about the wonderful life I have and how thankful I am to be living in Colorado.

Colorado is the bomb-diggity! I take a lot of pride in being a native of this beautiful State.

10. Name the Season Colorado Delivers

Even though I'm a big baby when it's cold out I'm still thankful for the four seasons. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall all rock. Each season is truly exceptional. If you can't find something you like to do then I don't even know what to tell you.

09. Name Your Sport

Professional Sports are life or death to many in Colorado. I love them all and am so thankful we have every professional sport there is. Broncos, Rockies, Avalanche, Nuggets, and even the Colorado Rapids.

08. Outdoor Living

Camping, hunting, skiing, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice-skating, cross-country skiing, bicycling, swimming, and the wonderful evening walks I love, love, love.

07. Night Life

A concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater. That's all I need to say here, even though there's so much more than that, but if that were it, that would honestly be a gift.

06. Breweries and Wineries

Hip with the Hops and down with the wines. This is always a blast and one of my most favorite things to do with my friends. Chilling and enjoying a moment of laughter is a bonus.

05. Animals Everywhere

Dogs are welcomed. Enough said. Ha. Colorado really does love their pets. I miss having horses but love seeing so many as I drive around the state. I also, thank God when I see the wildlife around. Makes me tear up seeing such magnificent creations.

04. The Beauty

Every day is a new picture. It doesn't matter if you are on the Western Slope or on the Front Range its breath-taking.

03. Festivals

Colorado will celebrate anything. Craziest festivals around and so many of them. Enjoy life, and go to a festival in Colorado. That should be a slogan or something.

02. Work hard, Play hard

This is for everything I do. My job here at the radio station, but then my job to work out and take care of myself. I love working hard and then going to a festival for work, or running and preparing for the Boulder Bolder. Super thankful for this!

01. FOOD ... FOOD ... and more FOOD

Have I mentioned how much I love food? I write about food all the time and the best entertainment is a great meal with all your peeps and talking for hours. Colorado has so many fabulous restaurants. So enjoyable and nothing better.

What makes you thankful to be living in the best state ever?
